August Update!

Wow. seems as though things have finally began to calm down after the whirlwind of fabulous parties and events since Pride. Let's re-cap.
The second week of July was amazing as I got to DJ theIGLA  International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics meet in Hawaii. They were a really fun group and had social events all week. I had a great time and got to meet a ton of amazing queer athletes from all over the world. I was especially thrilled as my dear friend Heklina was there in Hawaii putting on her famous Trannyshack show at Hula's in Waikiki. It was my first time in the Islands and look forward to returning. Though works, events, and parties have me at home in SF for a hot minute.

The club scene in San Francisco has been off the chain. It seems that everywhere you go bars and clubs are filled again with young gays, queers, and trans people out celebrating this city and its culture. My two parties, Booty Call Wednesdays that I throw with my business partner Juanita More!, and Stallion Saturdays that I produce at Rebel have packed with hot gays, club kids, and drag artists.

Booty Call is nearing its 4 year anniversary, having grown from little mid-week hump day party to a full on Wednesday night tradition in San Francisco. Booty Call is so special because the whole experience feels like one big show. From the scantily clad tranny go go dancers, Juanita's endless fashion, my big room beats, to the ever changing photo backroom shot by Moreboy Isaac, the energy of that party is beyond magical. Some come to participate while others prefer more of a  voyeuristic approach the nights' happenings.

While Stallion Saturdays  is completely different beast. Stallion is my newest weekly party that was launched this year at Rebel, which a gorgeous brand new gay nightclub with after-hours (which is huge here in SF) right next to the Castro. The sound is big room house driven with a touch or twerk and re-work. The look of the venue is dark and masculine with live duo go go shows every hour til 4am . The team of "horse hung go-go studs" has become really popular, making Stallion a destination for locals and visitors from all over the bay. We are excited to have my friend and DJ Josh Peace up this week from LA to play with local celebrity DJ Pee Play (who has a featured top ten list on my Out Nighthawks page.

This past weekend was a local holiday in the SOMA district here in SF as it was the Dore alley street fair aka the Up Your Alley fair. I was honored to have been asked to MC the famous Naked Twister stage produced by Steamworks. It was a gorgeous day, I was surrounded by gorgeous muscle studs in jock straps for 6 hours and got to wear my new hand made latex football pants, what more could I have asked for? Make sure to check out the photos here or on my Facebook.

Hosting the twister stage this past Sunday has really gotten me in the mood for Folsom Street Fair. That weekend, September 24th I will be producing my 4th annual "Leather and Lace Ball" at the Stud bar. The night promises to be legendary as my girl and winner of RuPaul's Drag Race RAJA, and two of the hottest young adult stars in the gay world Chris Porter and Kennedy Carter all together under one roof. Speaking of Chris Porter check out this video I shot with him and Naked Sword studios for the Tim and Roma show. It was quite a night!

With that it is time to meet with my team, we are going over the calendars and booking out the next couple months. Look for our favorite resident DJs and dancers as well as celebrity appearances by Lady Bunny, Nita Aviance and more... www.joshuajpresents.com
